Kinder haben Rechte. Das weiß nur leider kaum jemand. Nicht einmal ein Fünftel aller Kinder in Deutschland kennen die UN-Kinderrechtskonvention wirklich, bei den Eltern und anderen Erwachsenen sieht es ähnlich aus. Dabei sind Kinderrechte in Deutschland geltendes Recht!
Und auch, wenn die Kinderrechte dieses Jahr schon 30 Jahre alt werden, gelten sie heute noch genauso – auch im Internet.
Sophie Pohle und Luise Meergans befassen sich beim Deutschen Kinderhilfswerk mit Kinderrechtevermittlung und Kinderrechten in der digitalen Welt. Nach einem theoretischen Input über die Entstehung, die Bedeutung und die Umsetzung der Kinderrechte in Deutschland wollen sie, orientiert an den Fragen und Themen der Teilnehmer*innen, ins Gespräch über Herausforderung und Chancen kommen, die sich dann ergeben, wenn Kind und Internet zusammentreffen: Dabei soll es um Kinder als Rezipient*innen, aber auch um Kinder als Akteur*innen gehen.
